Cross-hierarchical leadership and relationship management

Leadership of managers is the art of motivating, inspiring, developing and supporting other managers so that together they can achieve the organisation’s goals. It requires special skills that go beyond the general craft of leadership and requires more than just the organisational leadership of a group of managers, meaning it is a continuous process of interaction and relationship building within and between different hierarchical levels in an organisation.

This training is aimed in particular at managers who work in middle and senior management and are faced with the challenge of shaping the culture and framework conditions for good cooperation and coordinated leadership action in their own management circle within their organisation. As part of this training programme, the special features of management leadership are highlighted and illustrated using specific case studies. Based on theoretical impulses and reflection on their own practical examples, the participants deal with core tasks in leading other managers. They learn how to expand the problem-solving skills of their managers, how to pass on leadership skills to others and how to hand over responsibility and develop their own attitude to leadership.

Training goals

The “Leading managers” training programme aims to reflect on and shape the framework conditions for effective cooperation and leadership within management teams.
