Data protection and use of this website

It is generally possible to use our p4d | partnership for development GmbH (hereinafter referred to as p4d) website without providing any personal data. If personal data is processed, this is always done in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and in compliance with the applicable country-specific data protection regulations.

Every time you access our website, information is automatically collected by us or the Internet provider – so-called server log files, which do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person and are automatically communicated by your browser, such as the name of the website, the requested file, date and time of access, data volume, browser used, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL and the IP address. Without this data, it is not technically possible to deliver and display the content of our website, which is why its collection is absolutely necessary. We also use the anonymous information for statistical purposes.
As the controller, p4d uses technical and organisational measures to protect this website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or processing of your data by unauthorised persons, e.g. through SSL encryption. Nevertheless, internet-based data transmissions can generally have security gaps, meaning that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
Your personal data will also be deleted in routine checks as soon as the purpose of processing and statutory retention periods no longer apply.

Purposes and legal basis of data processing by p4d and third parties

We only process your personal data if the processing purpose is justified on the basis of legal requirements. Processing takes place, for example, if:

  • you have given your express consent (Art. 6 I lit. a GDPR),
processing is necessary in the course of initiating a contract (Art. 6 I lit. b GDPR),
  • the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (Art. 6 I lit. b GDPR)
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6 I lit. c GDPR)
  • processing is necessary for the protection of vital interests (Art. 6 I lit. d GDPR)
  • processing is necessary to safeguard legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data (Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR).

We clarify that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or may also result from contractual provisions (e.g. information on the contractual partner).
