World Café moderation for the IHK Bonn/ Rhein-Sieg at the Global Media Forum 2016 in Bonn
“Migration and push factors – What is the added value of dialogue between development cooperation and business?” was the hotly debated topic of the panel organized by the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Claus-Bernhard Pakleppa (p4d) moderated the event, which was designed as a World Café concept.
The objectives of the panel were,
- highlight the impact of cooperation between development cooperation and the private sector, especially in relation to companies that do not have their core business in development cooperation; and
- to disclose how cooperation effectively and efficiently contributes to and detracts from the achievement of development goals.
The World Café is a proven workshop technique for groups of 12-2000 people. It is based on the assumption that there is collective knowledge that can be used effectively to solve issues and challenges.
