“A giant awakes“ – this was the slogan under which the IHK Bonn/ Rhein-Sieg invited on September 21st2017 to the Digital Hub in Bonn, to discuss about future opportuinites for the digitisation in Africa. Representatives of the AHK from sub-Saharan Africa as well as stakeholders of the ‘Deutsche Wirtschaft’ and the ‘Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit’ (GIZ) reported about current developments, successes challenges in the different countries.

“Migration and push factors – What added value does the dialogue between development cooperation and business offer?” was the hotly debated topic of the panel organized by the Bonn/ Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Claus-Bernhard Pakleppa (p4d) moderated the event, which was designed as a World Café.
