The Common Ground process: an integrative approach to jointly shaping work culture
In our article on this topic, published in issue no. 2-2016 of the Zeitschrift für OrganisationsEntwicklung (ZOE), we look at the question of
how managers can be supported externally in achieving their goals better and more sustainably together with their organizational unit. This is shown using the example of the international rolling bearing group SKF, which has been using measures for (management) teams since 2010 to create a common basis for the working culture, the so-called common ground. Based on follow-up discussions with participating managers and employees, the article describes the experiences, effects and process steps of the Common Ground process.
The authors of the article are Brigitte Schwinge (p4d GmbH), Claus-Bernhard Pakleppa (p4d GmbH) and Wolfgang Sutterlüti (AB SKF).
